Legal Drafting

AI-powered document generation with precision control, contextual anchoring, and secure editing.

Where to find this: Navigate to JuriCloud AI → Draft in the top tab bar.

The Legal Drafting engine combines AI with structural legal constraints. It allows practitioners to generate complex agreements, notices, and pleadings using either conversational prompts or highly structured input forms.

1. Dual Entry-Points

Juricloud provides two distinct pathways for drafting, tailored to the specific needs of the legal professional.

Conversational Drafting

Speak directly to the Legal Agent. Just describe what you need, and it will generate a draft preview you can send to the Editor.

Structured Generation

Use the Draft Tab for formal creation. You get precise controls for metadata, anchoring, and drafting modes for a court-ready document.

2. Structured Generation Flow

When using the structured pathway, the system follows a logical progression to ensure the AI has complete context before generation.

Core Metadata

Define the Document Title, Category, andLanguage. The system supports 20+ regional and international languages, ensuring localization accuracy.

Reference Document Anchoring

Anchor the AI to an existing document from your library. This instructs the model to replicate the structural nuances, definitions, and tone of the reference file while incorporating new instructions.

Dynamic Custom Fields

Inject structured data points such as Dates, Numbers, or Text. These fields are treated as immutable variables that the AI must use when constructing clauses and financial terms.

3. Precision Drafting Modes

Drafting modes control the complexity, tone, and level of protection within the generated text.

General

Standard legal document format with a balanced level of detail. Suitable for most common use cases and general agreements.

Essential

Short, clean, and legally valid. Uses minimal clauses for clarity and is ideal for quick business discussions or simple MOUs.

Robust

Litigation-safe drafting with higher duty of care. Includes detailed confidentiality, survival clauses, and explicit remedies.

Defensible

Exhaustive definitions and aggressive protections. Built to withstand court scrutiny with indemnity and injunctive relief clauses.

4. Advanced Draft Editor

The Draft Editor is a context-integrated workspace that provides fine-grained control over document structure, typography, and AI-driven refinement.

Intelligent AI Rewrite Engine

Seamlessly transform complex legal text by selecting specific clauses. The integrated AI engine offers both natural language prompting and precision presets:

Make Formal

Convert informal notes into professional legal language.

Fix Grammar

Standardize syntax, spelling, and legal punctuation.

Summarise

Condense long articles into concise executive summaries.

Expand/Shorten

Dynamically adjust clause length while maintaining logic.

Selecting any text in the editor reveals a Floating Toolbar for instant access to these AI tools and core formatting controls.

Structural Legal Tools

Easy Table Management

Create and easily edit tables for your document. You can resize them, add row headers, and easily insert or delete rows and columns to organize information clearly.

Fonts & Text Size

Choose common legal fonts like Arial and Times New Roman. You can adjust the text size perfectly (from small 8pt to large 36pt) to make sure your document meets all filing rules.
