The Tasks module provides a centralized platform for managing all actionable items within your legal practice. By linking tasks to specific cases, you ensure that every piece of work is accounted for and assigned to the right team members.
1. Task Classifications
Tasks in JuriCloud are categorized by their lifecycle status and urgency. Understanding these types helps in prioritizing work and tracking team progress.
Status States
• To Do: Initial state for new tasks.
• In Progress: Active work currently being handled.
• Deferred: Paused tasks awaiting external input.
• Completed: Finalized work items.
• Cancelled: Tasks no longer required.
Priority Levels
• Low: Routine tasks with no immediate impact.
• Medium: Standard workflow requiring steady progress.
• High: Critical actions linked to court dates or filing deadlines.
2. Creating & Assigning
Creating a task involves setting the scope and assigning responsibility. The key fields ensure that your team knows exactly what needs to be done and by when.
Defining Scope
Provide a clear Title and use the Description for detailed checklists or background context.
Case Integration
Select a Case to unlock member assignment. This ensures only relevant team members are assigned.
3. The Tasks Hub
The Tasks Hub is your central mission control. It allows you to visualize and filter all work across every case in your firm.
