Dashboard Builder
Visualize legal data through interactive charts, tables, and summary widgets.
The Dashboard Builder is where you design how extracted workflow data is presented. It provides a drag-and-drop canvas to create multiple views, allowing you to synthesize complex legal documents into actionable insights.
1. The Interface
The builder consists of a dynamic grid layout with three main functional areas:
- View Tabs: Organize your dashboard into multiple specialized views (e.g., "Executive Summary", "Financial Details").
- Widget Toolbox: A sidebar containing all available widget types. Simply drag a widget from the toolbox onto the canvas.
- Interactive Canvas: A resizable grid where widgets can be moved, scaled, and configured.
2. Widget Library
Choose from a variety of widgets to best represent different types of legal data.
3. Building & Configuration
Follow these steps to create a high-impact dashboard for your legal workflow.
- Create a View: Click the button in the tabs bar to start a new dashboard layout.
- Add Widgets: Drag a template (Summary, Chart, etc.) from the Widget Library onto the grid.
- Link Data: Click the icon on a widget to open its configuration. Select the Workflow Field that should provide the data.
- Arrange Layout: Use the handle to move widgets, or drag the bottom-right corner to resize.
- Preview: The dashboard showing sample data while in the builder mode to help you visualize the final output.
4. Workflow Execution
Once your dashboard is built, you can execute the workflow against your documents to generate real-time results.
Click Run Workflow to open the execution modal. Select the documents you wish to process and click "Start Analysis."
- Aggregate View: Combines data from all selected documents into a single dashboard.
- Separate View: Generates individual dashboards for each document processed.
Override or supplement extraction logic by providing specific natural language instructions during execution (e.g., "Ignore clauses dated before 2020").
