The Legal Agent is your AI-powered collaborator for framing legal queries, analyzing documents, and drafting complex legal materials. It is built to understand the nuances of case law, statutes, and procedural requirements in a way that respects your professional expertise.

1. Starting a Research Session

Every research task begins with a clear objective. The Agent provides "Smart Suggestions" to help you quickly jump into common tasks.

  • Instant Prompts: Use pre-configured cards like "Research Case Law" or "Explain Concepts" to get started with one click.
  • Precise Queries: Type your specific legal question in the Command Console (Chat Input).

2. Working with Evidence (Context)

The true power of the Legal Agent lies in its ability to read your specific files. You can "Attach" existing Cases or Documents to your conversation to make the AI focus only on that context.

Limit: 3 Contexts
You can attach up to 3 Documents or a single Case for each research session to maintain the highest accuracy.

How to use:

  1. Click the Paperclip (Attach) icon in the chat bar.
  2. Select whether you want to attach a Case or a Document.
  3. Pick your files from the search results and click "Attach".

3. Verifying Citations

Never worry about "hallucinations." Every time the Agent cites a legal authority or case, it provides aView Judgement button.

Clicking this button opens the full text of the cited authority in a side-by-side view, allowing you to verify the source text instantly without leaving the research window.

4. Structured Data Analysis

When analyzing complex tables or comparing multiple clauses, the Agent automatically formats its output into readable, professional tables. This is ideal for extracting "Key Dates," "Monetary Values," or "Obligations" from lengthly contracts.

5. Drafting Agreements & Petitions

The Agent is trained to detect when it has generated a formal legal draft. Whether it's a Commercial Agreement or a Court Petition, the Agent will highlight the draft.

Open in Editor:

Once a draft is ready, look for the Open in Editor button at the bottom of the message. Clicking this will instantly port the text into the JuriCloud Rich Text Editor for final formatting and signing.

6. Research History

Your work is persistent. Use the left sidebar in Research Mode to access past sessions. You can rename sessions, delete them, or pick up research exactly where you left off.

7. Professional Standards

Confidential Processing:

Documents attached to the Agent are never used to train global AI models. Your data remains yours.

Verified Logic:
